Interpretative Planning and Implementation

We have been fortunate enough to work on a range of interpretation plans and projects.

Client: Cadw

  • Letha Consultancy Ltd.  created interpretation plans and or developed interpretative content for the following Cadw sites:

    • Rhuddlan Castle (2017) as a sub contractor to Fielder Green Associates,  

    • Castell Coch (2016)

    • Flint Castle (2016)

    • Neath Abbey and Flint castle (2016) as sub contractor for Equinox

    • Harlech Castle (2015)- a World Heritage Site with Bright3D

    • Kidwelly Castle (2014) 

    • Blaenafon Ironworks (2012/14) 

    • Segmentation Roman Fort (2013/4)

    • Dyfi Furnace (2010)

  • Part of a team that developed the Pan-Wales Interpretation Plans for ‘Wales – the First Industrial Nation’ (2011) and Maritime Wales (2013)

Client: Caerphilly CBC

  • Expert advisor for the new exhibition at Llancaiach Fawr Living History Museum’s Visitor Centre, developing exhibition content (2016/17)

  • Developed the County-wide Countryside Interpretation Strategy (2015)

  • Wrote the interpretation plan and was subsequently part of team delivering interpretive content on the Gelligaer Roman Fort project (2010)

  • Helping the Friends of the Winding House to develop a brief for the redevelopment of interpretation at the museum (2007); and working on the Audience Development and Access Plan for the same site (2010)

 

Client: Foresters' Forest/Forest of Dean 

  • Helped develop an interpretation plan for the project with Red Kite Environment

 

Client: St John's House, Trutees

  • Interpretation plan and ongoing support (2015-1017)

Client: National Trust

  • Aberdulais – developed an Interpretation Plan and project managed the implementation of Phase 1 (2015)

 

Client RSPB Wales

  • Part of a wider team supporting the Living Levels HLF bid. Letha Consultancy was heavily engaged in developing the interpretation plan (2016/7)

Client: Landmark Trust

  • Worked with GKA Associates in developing an HLF Activity Plan for Lundy Island (2015)

 

Client: City and County of Swansea

  • Interpretation Plan for Swansea Castle (2013)

 

Client: Groundwork Merthyr/RCT

  • Developed an Interpretation Plan for Merthyr Tydfil’s Lost Heritage (2013) with Can-Do-Team
